EBC Red Stuff Brake pads R50/53/52

EBC Redstuff Brake pads for 2002-2006 R50,R52,R53 MINI Cooper and Cooper S. The Redstuff superstreet formula is for cars above 200bhp and fast street driving. FAST STREET PADS and daily drivers.

These are a Kevlar fibre based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer, it brakes better and is quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor).

This is a great pad for a daily driver MINI, and fast road pad for repeated heavy braking. We here at WMW actually use these on our own MINI that we drive on the street. These emit far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. These features EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with approx. 50% dust reduction compared to other pads.
These pads also have the slots in them for the OEM brake pad sensors to be used.

Pads are sold as a set for Front or Rear axle.

Great pads for my 08 R52 daily driver. Noticeable stopping increase, no more OEM brake pad fade on the Dragon, and long lasting.

Besides the noticeable stopping power, the no fade, and the longevity of these pads.....they are the most effective brake pads in eliminating wheel dust. My wheels are so much cleaner now and require much less washings. This is THE pad to own!
