KW Variant 3 Coilovers R50,52,53

KW Variant 3 TSW spec Coil-over System for 2002-2006 R50, R53, MINI Cooper and Cooper S, and 2005-2008 R52 MINI Cabrio. This is not the off the shelf KW V3 coilovers you buy just anywhere. This is the TSW spec KW V3's. These have been resprung and spec'd with new linear rate springs. TSW did a lot of testing to match a set to the handling and weight of the MINI, making something just perfect. It comes complete with 60mm springs and perches selected specifically for the MINI and also mates up perfectly with Vorshlag 60mm camber plates. Like all KW coil-over systems the strut bodies are all stainless steel with stunning eye appeal.

The Variant 3 coil-over system includes ride height adjustment with dual dampening and rebound adjustment for those MINI enthusiasts who want to lower their ride and dramatically increase handling performance for hard core auto-cross and track. These still provide a firm but not harsh ride for daily use, but an awesome and predictable setup for the track.

I am not one to usually write reviews, but after purchasing a set of the KW\'s with the Vorshlag camber plates I was so impressed I thought I would share. The handling with these is just amazing and the ride is actually better than stock. Firmer, but less jarring. They really elevate the handling to a new level and you can really feel the suspension working. I can\'t wait to get this set up out on the track and play more with the settings. Definitely a pricey upgrade, but well worth it. Makes the MINI feel like a much more expensive sports car with a really well tuned set up. Highly recommended!
