The fiberglass DFIC Exit Scoop installs in the hood directly behind the DFIC. With the help of an included aluminum exit diverter, the DFIC Exit Scoop allows air flowing through the DFIC to exit out into the atmosphere. This will help to keep your engine bay cooler as hot air is not allowed to pool under the hood and leaves through the large-mouth of the scoop instead.
The main highlight of the exit scoop is the free-flowing ability of the air. As the air enters the front scoop and passes through the DFIC, it sees a clear path straight to the outside air.
Installation does require cutting of the hood. A template is included with purchase to ensure proper placement and cutting size. The fiberglass Exit Scoop comes in a gelcoat that is ready for prep and painting. |
