M7 R56 Strut Reinforcement Plates

Answering the call for a way to stop mushrooming before it happens, M7 is happy to announce the R56 Strut Re-inforcements Plates (SRP) are now available! Taking the tested and proven design from our previous generation, the R56 SRP Plates will protect your strut towers from the evil potholes that always seem to spring out from nowhere. These will fit R55 MINI Clubman and R57 MINI Cabrio Convertible and R58 Coupe.

Extremely durable, the 1/2" (13mm) thick plates come in sets of two (left and right) and are made from CNC machined aluminum that is hard anodized black to prevent chipping or oxidization. Our plates cover the ENTIRE surface of the strut tower (not just where the upper strut mount meets the tower) to evenly distribute any loads over a larger area and give you the extra peace of mind.

Installation is a snap and includes simple instructions that also addresses fixing existing mushrooming. No need for new bolts, the SRPs use the 3 stock bolts on each side for installation.
