M7 Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates

M7 Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates for R50 R52 R53 2002-2006. A common issue on the first gen MINIs is that hitting pot hole or large bumps will cause the front strut mounts to bend and in turn bend the sheet metal they mount to. We call this mushrooming as it just domes up like a mushroom. Mounting these plates on top of the strut tower will brace and reinforce the front strut mounts preventing them from mushrooming.
Sold as a pair.

Check out our new WMW plates that work the same with a slightly different shape, but also have mounting holes to add our WMW strut brace later. Also they are more cost effective.
