NM Titanium Turbo Heatshield

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a 2011 or newer Cooper S/Clubman S, you need to order the 2011 Heatshield HERE.

If you have an R55, R56, or R57 with a turbocharger you need this. Keep your hood scoop from melting and keep the heat in the turbo.
NM Engineering has always used the finest materials in its manufacturing, including products constructed from T-304 stainless, 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 aluminum. With that in mind, NM has taken the next step with its new TitaNM product line which features parts utilizing titanium.

NM’s new TitaNM turbo heat shield is designed to redirect heat from the turbocharger down and around the engine. This reduces intake temps and protects the paint on the bonnet. Unlike other heat shields, NM’s does not completely encase the turbo as it would severely hamper the turbocharger’s heat dissipation and reliability. NM’s heat shield is commercially pure (CP grade) titanium.

Easy installation (5 minutes). It looks great, and it has definately reduced the temp of the bonnet.

Install took less than 5 mins. Deffinitely keeps the heat off the bonnet. Only issue I've had is the rubber boot from the O2 sensor tends to rub and chaff on the opening slot. Could be due to the fact I have a Euro spec 2010 Cpr S and it sits a bit higher than I've noticed in the pics of U.S. cars. Great product overall though.
