TSW Engine Mount 04-06 R50/R53
Do you have a 2004-2006 MINI and your stock motor mount failed and leaked all the hydraulic fluid out of it? Here is a fix. Urethane Upper Motor Mount (04-06) MINI. Tired of the MINI OEM upper motor mount metal can leaking oil? The TSW motor mount is made of high grade urethane specifically made to replace it. They chose a durometer that is harder and may cause vibration. There is also the added stabilizer that bolts into the shock tower. The stabilizer (or dog bone as we call it) is also surrounded by urethane at the mounting point.

This unit was both track and street tested as are all of our products. Made in the USA this is simply the best motor mount available for your MINI.

It works very well and as described! It controls engine movement better than the OEM hydraulic mount with the TSW damper helper.

This setup just works. No more concerns about another leaking motor mount. :-) And it keeps the motor nicely stabilized for smooth shifting when driving hard.

The worst product i have purchased for my 05 Cooper S..... after a failed OEM Mount, I installed this unit.... How many ways can you say extreme vibration.... this product fefinitely puts the clamps on the motor, but the vibration through the car is horrible.

This simply didn\'t work for me in my 05 Cooper. I tried it, I adjusted it, I researched, I asked on forums but not matter what I tried the vibration was just way too much. My rearview mirror would vibrate @ ~2500rpm, and my dash would rattle something terrible @ ~ 2250rpm. The interior of the car was significantly louder throughout the range. After installing a new OEM mount I can\'t say the shifting is notably different between the two mounts, perhaps a bit harsher and more precise with the TSW mount. If you actually use your car to commute places, you probably don\'t want this mount. If it\'s just for fun or racing, then it might be worth considering.

Just installed the TSW upper engine mount and BSH lower engine mount. Vibrations as expected but I love it. I love the feel of the car and how it handles. It puts down the power better than before. I have to say it feels like what the classic Mini's must feel like to drive. It is a solid ride and is a blast. As for vibrations, get rid of the loose crap in the interior that is bouncing around, noise dampening material can help, and using your stereo for music if you so desire like I do. Otherwise, excellent product and am very happy I installed it (Or I should say, a good friend who knew what he was doing installed it). Way, It might be a cool idea to package the TSW and BSH together in a package set. I think the people experiencing excessive vibration haven't replaced the lower mount.

This mount is top of the line, after installing this I could not help but smile while driving. I have heard a lot of people complain about vibrations. Here is the bottum line, this is a performance mount; meant for performance applications...if you want to drive a bmw 7 series...go do that.. I LOVE feeling connected to the car and actually being able to hear the engine being able to feel my car. I also will say the mount softens up slightly after 500-1k miles. and if your having excess vibs I would replace your other mounts..because thats probably the issue...

end of story is don't buy a race quality mount and complain about it feeling like a race quality mount? :D?
