TSW MINI Performance Springs

TSW Performance Loweirng Springs for R50 and R53 MINI Cooper and Cooper S are the best lowering springs you can get. These springs have been built specific and tested for the MINI. They are cold wound of the highest quality chrome silicon material, shotpeened, and then powder coated... 3/4" average drop front to rear, with the front settling in about 5/8" to 3/4" drop and the rear about 7/8". Why the difference? We think all the rake from the factory looks silly. If you only want a slight drop to close up the wheel gap, look no further.

Linear design front and rear, slight increase in rate over stock in front and rear - they play well with OEM shocks/struts, Koni Yellows and Bilstein SP's. The ride with OEM shocks/struts is by far better than with OEM springs... The front and rear spring rates are the same - a combination that we have tested time and time again and that we feel works the best... It allows you, the user, to dial in whatever you want with a rear sway bar.
One of the best features these springs have is that the front spring coils are stacked straight. This is important cause this will allow you to get more camber without the springs hitting the inner body. NO other springs are like this.
Being that they're cold wound, they won't sag in, and the rates are more predictable... These are top quality springs!

These springs have been on my Mini for awhile now. These were just what my Mini needed for an improved look without lowering too much. I have recommended these to several others and they like them too.

Way recommended TSW springs with JCW struts for my 2004 MCS daily driver and they've been great (20,000 miles on them now). They actually improved the ride compared to stock. As for handling, I got these when I also got H-Sport sway bars so I only can judge the entire package: It's excellent. My first trip to the mountains with this set up gave me the distinct impression that my car was a badass. I'm not technical enough to tell you the exact differences to stock, but the improvement was crystal clear.
